The Boston Red Sox World Series Victory Parade is on Wednesday, What You Need To Know!!

PSA: An update from the City of Boston's Transportation Department about the 2018 Red Sox Parade


The following is from the City of Boston's Transportation Department:

 

The Boston Red Sox World Series Victory Parade is on Wednesday, Oct. 31st. The parade will impact traffic and parking in Boston. People coming into the City to enjoy the festivities are encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles. Information about the MBTA may be found at mbta.com. Passengers are asked to leave backpacks, coolers, strollers and other large items at home.
  

There will not be a rally at City Hall Plaza after the parade. 

 

The rolling rally starts at Fenway Park at 11 am. The parade route will be:

  • Start on Lansdowne Street

  • Take a right onto Ipswich Street

  • Left onto Boylston to Tremont Street (opposite traffic flow)

  • Then finally to Cambridge Street to New Sudbury Street

"No Stopping Boston Police Special Event" signs will be posted

The parking restrictions will start at 12 am on Tuesday, and last into Wednesday. Towing will begin at 12 am on Tuesday.

 

You can't park at the following locations on Tuesday and Wednesday:

LANSDOWNE STREET

Both sides, from Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street

VAN NESS STREET

Both sides, from Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street

JERSEY STREET

Both sides, from Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue

IPSWICH STREET

Both sides, from Charlesgate East heading towards Fenway Park to Boylston Street (near CVS)

 

You can't park at the following locations on Wednesday:

BROOKLINE AVENUE

Both sides, from Park Drive to Commonwealth Avenue

DALTON STREET

Both sides, from Belvidere Street to Boylston Street

GLOUCESTER STREET

Both sides, from Newbury Street to Boylston Street

BOYLSTON STREET

Both sides, from Park Drive to Ipswich Street
Both sides, from the Fenway (DCR) to Tremont Street

EXETER STREET

Both sides, from Newbury Street to Boylston Street

CLARENDON STREET

Both sides, from Newbury Street to Boylston Street

BERKELEY STREET

Both sides, from Saint James Avenue to Boylston Street

PROVIDENCE STREET

Both sides, from Arlington Street to Berkeley Street
