On September 15, 2015 Hollywood took over the Coolidge Corner neighborhood of Brookline, MA for the invite only US premiere of the movie Black Mass.
Black Mass was filmed here in Boston, Black Mass is a 2015 American crime film directed by Scott Cooper and written by Mark Mallouk and Jez Butterworth, based on the 2001 book Black Mass. The True Story of the alliance between Boston's notorious mob boss James Whitey Bulger and the FBI.
On Tuesday Night the streets out front of The Coolidge Theater were packed with fans and spectators to see the stars of the film, Johnny Depp, Dakota Johnson, Jesse Plemon and Joel Edgerton walk down the Red Carpet
