“National Taco Day” Around Boston
/Looking for a place to celebrate #NationalTacoDay or just in the mood for some tacos? Tacos are on almost every menu in the city and I wish could mention everywhere I have tried. Here's some of my picks on where around Boston you can order up this traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling. Enjoy!!!
Cask ‘n Flagon Offers up some awesome Fish Tacos made with lightly fried haddock, fresh pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, seasoned rice, guacamole, julienne Granny Smith apples, black bean corn salsa, topped with spicy chipotle cream sauce
River Bar has a perfecly prepared Pork Cutlet Tacos with spicy cucumber and lime crema
Haru has a Trio of Fish Tacos on the menu, (tuna, salmon and striped bass) hard-shell tacos with cherry, tomato salsa, avocado, and apple yuzu ceviche sauce.
Besito You need to try the “BesitoTACOS AL BESITO”the dish is actually served in a cast iron skillet and come with organic black beans and house rice for the table. Guests can choose from Pollo, Res, Mixtos, Pastor or Vegetales and use the tortillas provided to create their own taco with the warm ingredients cooked in the cast iron skillet.
