About Me:
John Romard was born and raised in Boston. He's spent most of his career in the hospitality industry, working with catering, bar management, event planning and management, food services, front of the house and back of the house operations. John's first foray in to digital marketing was setting up a Facebook page for the bar he managed in 2006 and his passion grew from there. Creating the brand BostonAttitude, in August of 2011 to help promote events in and around the Boston area.
My goals have always been to create a platform for followers to find out about current events around the city.
I work with brands, agencies and small businesses every day to create custom marketing campaigns to reach a larger audience through National Brand Marketing, Social Media Takeovers, Community Engagement, in and around Boston.
Now conducting business under the name Local Attitude Media, INC. I have expanded to other avenues of marketing and brand development.
Whats Next?
Well we will see, I’ll be honest and say I just happy to be in 2021. The pandemic definitely hit me. I am definitely looking at a little rebrand and exciting new ventures to come. Want to collaborate or looking to partner. Reach out.

Local Attitude Media, INC
Local Attitude Media was born out of John's Boston Attitude passion project. He founded Boston Attitude in 2011 and grew it from there. Building the Boston Attitude website over the years, John delved in to Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, continuing to grow the Boston Attitude brand around the city while becoming something of a local social media personality.
We founded Local Attitude Media wanting to help local businesses that think that investing in digital marketing might help their business but might be a little overwhelmed about where to start, or businesses that just want some expert advice or services.
I cant take credit for all of it, I have had a lot of help and support along the way. Meet my closest friend Jonathan Barcus.
Co-Founder Jonathan Barcus
Jonathan Barcus grew up in Upstate New York in the Southern Adirondacks enjoying his childhood in Lake George and Saratoga Springs. He grew up closer to cows and farms than he did a big city, so he brings that small town perspective to Local Attitude. He came out to Boston in 2004 and Boston became home. He moved to New York City in 2009 for work and returned to Boston in 2016. Jonathan handles the technical stuff for Local Attitude Media while also providing expertise to the business and marketing end, making use of his diverse professional experience and the MBA he earned from Northeastern University.
