What not to miss this March in Boston!!!

Well, you survived the snowiest February in Boston history, the longest run with under 40 degree temperatures and now your ready to get out and enjoy some better weather.

Let's face it, for the shortest month of the year February seemed very long.  It's time to get out and enjoy some spring activity, even if it still looks and feels like winter. 


March 1 - 13th - Dine Out Boston (Restaurant Week)  where participating restaurants, will be offering tasty prix fixe lunch or dinner menus from March 1st-6th and then from the 8th-13th

March 3  - IHOP National Pancake Day - FREE  Pancakes for a great cause the Children's Miracle  Network Hospitals  

March 4 - The South Street Diner 18th anniversary Lobster Festival, You get a three-course Lobster meal for $10.  This 24/7 hot spot in Boston never disappoints.  

March 6 - MFA First Fridays - Enjoy Music, Cocktails and Fine Art ,  this event is 21+ and happens the First Friday of every Month.

March 8 - 2:00am is daylight savings time begins (Spring ahead by setting your clocks ahead an hour) extra daylight is a reason to party however you choose. 

March 10 -  Saloon in Somerville Celebrates Country Cork with a four- course Whiskey Diner. 

March 12 - 4th Annual Fundraiser to benefit the BCAE 'Chew on this' - enjoy eats from some of the best restaurants and food trucks around Boston.

March 12 - 16 -Taste of Iceland-  enjoy a cultural weekend of Icelandic food, music, film  and more.

March 15 - St Patrick's Day Parade - it's crazy, it's news worthy , it's controversial, it's going to happen on time, it's so Boston

March 25 - 29 - Boston Underground Film Festival - 24 movies over five days at the Brattle Street Theater.
