A "Wet Hot American Summer" Halloween at River Bar
From October 28-31, River Bar will continue their tradition of hosting the best TV-themed Halloween bashes. For four straight nights, this Assembly Row hotspot will transform into the summer camp of your youth for their “Wet Hot American Summer” Halloween events. While River Bar screens the cult classic 2001 Blockbuster hit and Netflix series on their indoor and outdoor TVs with subtitles, the bar will shake up three themed cocktails ($10 each): Indoor Kids with housemade raspberry vodka, Licor 43, citrus and bubbles; Arts & Farts & Crafts with gin, ginger, blue curaço and spices; and, Bug Juice with rum, Byrrh, Combier Cherry and grapefruit juice. Weather permitting, these cocktails can be enjoyed while cozying up to River Bar’s dueling fire pits…or your camp crush.
In addition to playing “Wet Hot American Summer,” River Bar will screen other classic camp-themed flicks and host an all-day costume contest on Saturday. The winner, who will be notified by email the following day, will receive a $40 gift card to River Bar. The River Bar team also will be handing out mystery prizes to adult trick-or-treaters sporting their favorite costumes throughout the long weekend.
