“Beefed Up” New Year’s Day Brunch at Foundry on Elm
Foundry on Elm will ring in 2017 in Davis Square with a “Beefed Up Brunch Buffet” ($25pp) sure to satisfy stomachs and taste-buds alike.
Executive chef Shayne Nunes will dish out the following delights: scrambled eggs with fresh chives; country home fries; Applewood smoked bacon and maple sausages; housemade chocolate and lemon curd beignets; baked French toast with crème anglaise and maple syrup; smoked gouda mac ‘n cheese; lemon cream cheese crepes with cranberry syrup; mixed greens salad with balsamic vinaigrette; made-to-order omelet station; assorted veggies cheeses and meats; a carving station with mustard roasted prime rib and horseradish cream; a fruit platter with fresh pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes, blood oranges, and berries; Foundry’s signature “Picnic Platter” with assorted meats, cheeses, jam, olives and pickles; house granola with Greek yogurt; and, assorted scones, breads, and pastries.
At 5pm, Foundry on Elm also will serve up a Prime Rib dinner special for $35 which features herb and mustard roasted prime rib, sautéed Brussels sprouts, truffle potato puree and caramelized onion jus.
