Cinco de Mayo will arrive at the world famous Cask ‘n Flagon in the form of a refreshing specialty cocktail and some snacks inspired by Mexican cuisine.
On the liquid side, Cask’s cocktail guru Eric Hecht has created the Frambuesa Friday, a mix of Cruzan Raspberry rum, El Jimador Blanco tequila, fresh lime juice and muddled fresh raspberries topped with ginger ale in a sugar-rimmed glass with a lime garnish ($9).
For a taste of Mexico, chef Jimmy Regalado will dish out two types of tacos ($14.99 each): Pork Belly Tacos with grilled pork belly, kimchi cabbage and fresh cilantro topped with a chipotle aioli and served with baked beans and seasoned rice, and Fish Tacos with lightly fried haddock, fresh pico de gallo, shredded lettuce and julienned Granny Smith apples topped with a spicy chipotle cream sauce and served with seasoned rice, black bean corn salsa and guacamole.
