City Tap House is toasting the leading lady in everyone’s lives this Mother’s Day. On May 14, the Fort Point gastropub will host a family-friendly brunch service both indoors and outdoors where spoiling Mom is top priority.
Upon arrival the matriarch of the family will be given a flower, a small token of appreciation for her love and dedication to the family. Once seated, the table will be presented with a basket filled with freshly baked cinnamon rolls and kids’ placemats that double as a DIY Mother’s Day card giving your little Picasso a fun activity that will allow Mom to just enjoy her day.
On City Tap’s menu of brunch classics, highlights include Blueberry Pancakes with honey-thyme butter, blueberry-star anise compote and Pennsylvania maple syrup ($10), Chicken & Waffles with fried chicken, buttermilk waffle, honey-thyme butter, molasses syrup and red pepper jam ($19), Braised Bacon Benedict with house-made biscuits, maple glazed pork belly, smoked paprika hollandaise, poached eggs and breakfast potatoes ($15) and The Big Chick with southern fried chicken breast, sausage gravy, smoky bacon, buttermilk biscuit, fried egg and breakfast potatoes ($14). Additionally, City Tap will serve up a variety of a la carte vegetables and spreads, wood fired pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, salads and burgers and to sip, City Tap’s signature brunch cocktails include the Bloody Mary ($9) and the Beermosa ($9), a hops-forward twist on a traditional mimosa.
