Tuesday, Jan 6 - Sips & Sweets for the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge  Sip some wine try some sweets all for a good cause. 

Sunday, Jan 11 - The No Pants Subway Ride - On Sunday January 11th the 8th annual No Pants Subway Ride takes place. (All the cool kids are doing it)

Thursday, Jan 15 - $1 Cups of Clam Chowder at Legal Seafoods  -  On January 15, Legal Sea Food is offering a cup of New England Clam Chowder for $1 see details in previous post.  Legal Sea Food Chowder Day 

Friday, Jan 16 - STAGE American Vaudeville Nightclub makes its theatre district debut. 

Friday, Jan 16 - Ski Bash Boston - The Boston bar The Harp and Long Trail Brewing Co.  join forces again for Ski Bash Boston. Enjoy specialty craft brews, giveaways & live music by Hot Date! + The Famous Shed Burger!! 

Sunday, Jan 25   -The 10th annual CityFest - Enjoy a chef-prepared five-course dinner with wine pairings at your choice of one of Boston’s exclusive North End restaurants. Proceeds benefit Joslin Diabetes Center’s High Hopes Fund. 

Monday, Jan 26 - Holiday Hangover to end childhood hunger in Boston - Sip Harpoon pints and enjoy food and brew pairings from top Boston Chefs all for a good cause.  For more information go to NoKidHungry.org 

Wednesday,  Jan 28 - An Evening with Patty Larkin at the MFA -  Patty Larkin talks about being one of Boston most admired folk singers at the Museum of Fine Arts 

Thursday, Jan 29 - Chicago's Joe Moss Band at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge

Saturday, Jan 31 - The 7th Annual “Some Like it Hot – Chili Cook-off”  - Head over to Harvard Square from 1 – 2:30pm  to enjoy samples of chili from some of Harvard Square’s Hottest restaurants + enjoy musical entertainment! 

Saturday, Jan 31 - Burrito Bowl IV - Chef Brian Poe to host fourth annual burrito brawl over Super Bowl Weekend!!  With who's who in local Burritos!!   (Papagayo’s Chris Damian; Taranta’s Jose Duarte; Estelles’ Yohni Aldana; El Pelón’s Jim Hoben; Tico’s Leo Asaro; Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake’s Uri Abragimovich; El Centro’s Allan Rodriguez; and, Ashmont Grill & Tavolo’s Chris Douglass.)
