Congratulations, you survived Allston Christmas and the Big College Move In week.  It's Labor Day weekend and that's the first sign that summer is coming to an end. Halloween candy is on the shelves, pumpkin everything is popping up and oktoberfest beer is on tap. If that isn't enough of a reason to get out this weekend I don't know what is.

Labor Day Fireworks - Join Boston Harbor Now, the City of Boston and NECN for the fourth annual Labor Day Weekend fireworks show over Boston Harbor!  The barge will be anchored between the North End and Seaport and will illuminate the skyline with spectacular volleys set to music.  Best viewing locations are East Boston’s Piers Park, Downtown’s Christopher Columbus Park and Long Wharf, and the Seaport’s Fan Pier.  The fireworks and music will also be televised live on New England Cable News beginning at 8:00pm, with music also broadcast on via the Atlas PyroVision smart phone app beginning at 8:30pm EST.
