Boston lights up blue for Boston Children's Hospital

More than 35 buildings and structures will be illuminated this Thursday.

Hey Boston!!! Grab your cameras or phones and take some pictures this Thursday when more than 35 of Boston's most iconic structures, including the Prudential Tower, City Hall, TG Garden, and the Zakim bridge, will be shining blue in support of Children's Hospital.

It will all go down at sunset (5:17 pm) wink* when a patient will flip a switch to turn the city blue.

Candles will be placed in the window of every patient's room at the hospital.

Blue light bracelets are on sale for $10 with proceeds benefiting the kids under the hospital's care.
