This Valentine’s Day, the Cask ‘n Flagon is taking a cue from Cupid by serving up romance at their Fenway and Marshfield locations from February 10-14. With a menu touting a shareable plate and some bubbly, treasures from land and sea as well as a decadent dessert, the quartet of specials will be complemented by a pair of cocktails meant to tap into the sweet and sassy sides of your date.
The First Date pairs an appetizer for two of calamari and mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto with a split of prosecco ($18). For entrees, there is the Surf & Turf with a grilled filet mignon, lobster tail, asparagus and béarnaise sauce ($26) and the Scallops Risotto with pan-seared scallops atop mushroom risotto ($21). For something sweet, there is a layered Chocolate Cake for dessert, served a la mode with vanilla ice cream ($7).
The duo of handcrafted cocktails created by Eric Hecht includes the rich Sealed with a Kiss, a martini with Godiva white chocolate liqueur, Svedka Clementine and banana liqueur with a strawberry and dark chocolate drizzle ($10.95) and the Frisky Whiskey with Kentucky Bulleit, fresh lemon juice and peach puree ($9.95).
