As a kick-off to the 14th annual Extreme Beer Fest, Fort Point’s City Tap House will team up with Framingham’s Jack’s Abby to host a tap takeover of extreme proportions on February 2. In celebration of this ultimate throwdown of craft beer creativity, the Jack’s Abby team will be filling 30 of City Tap House’s 60 draught lines – one of the brewery’s biggest takeovers to date – with their most extreme beers, including their experimentaFranken”steins,” eight variants of Framinghammer, multiple selections from their sour and wild series, ramped up versions of their core series, a collaboration with Trillium called “Friend Request” and other favorites. The Jack’s Abby founders – brothers Jack, Sam and Eric Hendler – will be joined by their mad brewers to show off all the fruits of their labors while City Tap House churns out culinary specials available only on this night.
