Sunday River SSX Tricky Tournament and Ski Patrol Screening Parties Throughout November at Bit Bar!
Bit Bar, North Shore’s famed arcade bar located in the Old Salem Jail, hosts the Sunday River SSX Tricky Tournament, inviting all ski and snowboard gurus out for a chance to shred, trick, stomp and carve their way to pairs of Sunday River ski lift tickets every other Thursday from 6 – 10 p.m. throughout November (beginning Thursday, November 2nd) by competing for high scores on SSX Tricky, the classic snowboarding video game from EA Sports. It’s free to enter and play, and the winner with the highest score at the end of each night will win free lift tickets to New England’s popular ski resort.
Greater Boston’s first and only “barcade ” will also screen the hilarious 1990 cult classic, ‘Ski Patrol,’ for guests waiting their turn McTwisting and Flatlanding their way to Sunday River lift tickets. If that does not sound enticing enough, the Bit Bar outdoor patio will have a creative display for those that can brave the cold, where you can build mini-snowmen, roast marshmallows by the fire pit and a local distillery will serve up snowboard and skiing-themed cocktails and drinks for the ice luge .
