Sam Adams Releases Limited Edition Red Sox Beer
/Attention Beer Lovers and Red Sox Fans!!
You know the story; picture it, It was June 9, 1946, Ted Williams rocketed a 502 feet homer into the bleachers, the longest home run ever in Fenway Park. The Red Sox mark the spot with the 'red seat' at Fenway Park (Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21).
Fast forward; It’s now 2018 and Boston-based Samuel Adams Brewery is celebrating this piece of city history with a limited edition Red Seat IPA. But there is a catch, they're only making 502 bottles.
To quote the brewer "This red IPA layers Southern Hemisphere hops with grapefruit and balsam pine aromas over a smooth and roasty malt backbone with notes of toffee."
Want one? Well you’re in luck. In true Samuel Adams Boston Brewery spirit it just so happens that on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5:02 PM – 8:30 PM EDT they're hosting an After Hours Red Seat IPA Bottle Release Party!! Oh and get this, it’s coincidentally Sam Adams's 296th Birthday, if you needed another reason to have a cold one after work that day!
Please arrive early, tickets to the event cost only $10 but do not guarantee a bottle of the Red Seat IPA, they’ll only be sold on a first-come-first-served basis to the first 502 people in line.
There will also be a food truck, live music and a baseball-themed trivia. Who knows? You might be lucky enough to win some Red Sox tickets.
