DoorDash Boston's NEW On-demand delivery service

DoorDash!! Boston's NEW On-demand delivery service

Boston has a NEW On-demand delivery service, I tried it,  It's user friendly, I approve, and this is how things went down!!

First off the website/app is easy to use, It really is the Uber of Take-out. The hardest part was deciding what to order. You can track your order step by step, even select the time to have your meal delivered. They send you a confirmation email as soon as the order is received.

They had a great selection of locations for me to choose for my location (Brookline).  My choice was to go with Lulu's Allston they happen to have one of my favorite dishes Short Rib Mac & Cheese.

I had created the account earlier so they already had my address, all I had to do was add my credit card info.

  • I Picked a Restaurant (Click)

  • Picked two items I wanted, Short Rib Mac & Cheese & Truffle Tots (Click - Click)

  • Check out (Click) and then choose the Gratuity and send.. (Click)

This really was an easy way to order out. I was updated that my order was received before I could even log off.

  • Ordered Time: 6:51pm

  • Confirmed Time: 6:53pm

  • Picked Up Time: 7:21pm

  • Arrival Time: 7:40pm  ( Note**** Driver arrived before 7:40pm the complications of my location to my apartment makes things take a  moment longer)

Driver: Marvin was friendly, smiling, and pleasant. Very professional, introduced himself and thanked me for choosing DoorDash

Food: My meal was what I ordered, it as hot and very well prepared.

Extras: The meal came in a DoorDash bag and had everything I needed. They also added a Biscotti from Modern Pastry with a thankyou card.

Thoughts: I would and will use DoorDash again, I noticed you can choose an arrival time so I could pre-order my meal a few hours before I needed it. I love this idea. I really liked how easy the order process was. The Hardest part was choosing what to order and where.

Sign up and try DoorDash before October 1st with my promo code: BostonAttitudeDD and recieve $7 credit on your first deleivery.

DoorDash is now serving Boston neighborhoods of (South End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Allston-Brighton) + Brookline and Chestnut Hill.
